What is the goal for humanity?

Writer: Rob AllaertRob Allaert

Clearly, God is not a being, not even a Being with a capital letter. Beings are known to crawl into the earth or upon the earth's crust; swim in the water or float in the air and the cosmos. These are all expressions of the creative power or Life.

Life transcends all of us, but we are all part of it. Realise that only man can truly contemplate and reflect on that thing called Life. It's exactly that which gives us a divine flair. Too bad we have also used that capacity in destructive ways along the way.

Someday - sooner rather than later - humanity will come to realise that an autonomous and unique individual has nothing to prove. No need to prove our goodness or to make all kinds of efforts to be noticed. Only with this 'change of heart' (a change of mind, really) will humanity be able to return to the cooperative togetherness from which we biologically emerged, before the fierce development of our neocortex.

What is the goal for humanity? To journey from an unconscious paradise, marching through hellish paths of trial and failure, towards our true destination; a conscious paradise. Finally moving out of the cave, and onwards to the sun!
